The One Question to Ask Yourself in a Stressful Situation,Confusion or Dilemma.

Have you ever been in a situation where you felt stressed or plain uncertain about things ? I bet we all have. As we go through our day mired with various things to do, dealing with a lot of different people, relationships and situations at work or outside of work some times can be particularly challenging.

Often one goes through a spectrum of emotions like feeling happy, disappointed, upset, excited and many many more. Some emotions nag us and don’t let us perform at our optimum. There is one tool you own that can use to make such times actually productive moments.

It is important to note that the future is uncertain for all. Also the past is done. The only thing you really have for sure is the present moment. When things seem difficult, trying or plain ambiguous, find a quiet corner, take three deep breaths and ask yourself this question :

“What Do I Really Need ?”

Not what I want, what you think, what you should do next. Just “What do I need ?”

Try not to lie to yourself. Remember if something is a need, you will figure out a way to fulfill it; if something is not acknowledged how will you ask for it or go after it ?

Your emotions and feelings are your ultimate compass in life. They belong to you and you alone.No one else has them like you do. Trust them, learn to understand them and use them to lead you to a fulfilled life at work and at play.
